Said Range Rover looks to be parked on double yellows to me. I feel so sorry for all those Royal Warrant holders. I wonder if their food now comes from the Duchy estates? I recognise I’m wildly speculating here but if that butcher has been supplying Balmoral for 40 years and now isn’t, well that’s a big drop in income.
Love this. Also under the spell of the Fringe - have been ever since I did the costumes for a friend's production of Beowulf The Musical (for children). xx
About 4 decades ago, did a long weekend at the Festival, absolutely brilliant. Amazing talent, some in tiny spaces so close you could touch them, others in proper big venues.
And love the ‘what would I have at home’ game! Mine would be the Colourists…
Did you record an audio version of your book for earbud addicts? When I traveled across the UK everyone thought sounded like Elly Mae Clampit of the Beverly Hillbillies.
It’s funny how, when things are geographically close to you like you & the festival, you kind of think oh, it’s not really for us. We live very close to the Loxwood Joust but have never been for that reason…. And yet we’re off to Edinburgh on Friday
Haha Just bought The Right Place on Kindle. So excited!! 💖
Thank YOU
Me too! Then spent another tenner on others 🙄
If Balmoral is now using “Duchy” sausages, that’s really not environmentally friendly. Needs a rethink & a move back to local products & producers.
AGREE, but also Irn Bru sausages… 🤮🤮🤮
Tried not to think about those 🤮🤮🤮
I wonder if they cook to a Trumpian orange?
“Irn Bru”, I think a lot of folk use it to clean sinks, like cans of coke, which appears to clean stainless steel sinks very well.
It was a nice story, but missing news of Dennis…..
Ok noted more next week!

Yes. True. Although he still looked to be doing a roaring trade yesterday (just not in Irn Bru sausages)
I've just started The Right Place on my kindle and I'm loving it!
Wahooooo so glad!

It is WONDERFUL no?! Love love love. Even or maybe especially the weirdest things on. My bag is full of the maddest flyers.

Yes! But I’m verrrrrry worried that my French and American accents are going to get me cancelled they are AWFUL. So bear that in mind!
Unfortunately, your book is $12.99 on Amazon Australia 😔
Oh sorry!

Yes exactly! Seems MAD that we lived there for a decade and just…never went?!
I have had Irn-Bru sorbet - I think it was in Largs.
🤢🤢🤢
