Always delighted to see you in my Inbox...you're so right about all this data leading us to become obsessed. I was a disciple of the 5:2 diet years ago & became obsessed with the MyFitnessPal app - recording the calories consumed every day, all day, of every single morsel I put into my mouth. I ended up in a starve/binge cycle which led me to doing 3:4 diet as the 5:2 had stopped working. It felt like a kind of madness. I had been thinking about doing Zoe as I am trying to avoid ultra processed foods as it makes so much sense, but reading Moira's comment & your reply I realise it's another route I don't need to go down. I do not need to pay the food police to tell me things I already know. Thank you.
Oh if this helps then great! I could feel myself getting really into the idea of the Whoop band and knowing all this stuff and then I thought, well, why? Do I really *need* it? And I've had quite a nice January on the cooking/food front, which feels a bit indulgent because post Christmas penury etc, but I also REALLY think we should give ourselves a break during a pretty bleak month. Anecdotally, I know of quite a few people who were pretty disappointed with Zoe. It essentially seems to tell everyone to eat more vegetables and pulses and, well, duh, course we do!
It’s like he knows! I agree re the health monitoring; Zoe absolutely disordered my eating and I didn’t need to pay £600 to be told to eat more veg and less bacon. I notice they’re now offering supplements. Our health worries are being amplified, then, as if by magic, a very expensive commercial solution is offered.
OH Zoe! I completely forgot about that! Well reminded. I fell for it too and was subsequently v annoyed with myself. They're basically preying on all our neuroses, these things, I reckon. Part of the cult of wellness really.
They've had to recall the expensive supplements because they had been "let down by a supplier" and "possibly" contained small pieces of stone. I ordered them in a weak moment and was glad to send them back for a refund. I bet they were SO pissed off.
I hated Babygirl too. So empty and void and pointless and as sexy as an empty crisp packet in a puddle. None of the characters were recognisably even human. They had no relatability at all. A complete waste of an evening. Was it the script? Or the actors? I don’t think I will bother with films anymore in the cinema.
I know I had that exact thought walking out. When telly's so good, cinema is really up against it - especially given ticket prices. It felt to me like a script about which various people had decided 'oooh yes, this is the kind of important and contemporary subject we *should* be tackling.' But in reality it said nothing.

Cheltenham on Saturday will be a smart-watch-free zone I imagine. And most people will be wearing two coats. But not the ‘osses.
THREE coats I would 🥶

OOOH fascinating!
Oh my lord, I hadn’t heard that, Penny. Jeanette Hyde from the Gut Makeover is worth a look on here.
Good luck Dennis! 🤞💕🐕🦺
I will pass it on, thank you!

Exactly. Maybe get someone who understands it in on the team if you want to tackle it!
.....Googles whoop band immediately !!!
Ha well I know it's irresistible. As I say, I'm just as prone to being hooked on all this as everyone else!
