Lovely chatty piece as I read in Avalon north of Sydney!
As an aside, with British winemaking going gangbusters, and climate change likely to make Southern Europe inhospitable to grapes, there will likely be diminishing need to import rose.
And a passable kefir can be made by keeping part of your original and tipping it up with milk. Leave to stand at room temperature, a day or so I think, and then refrigerate!
Hello Sophia. Kefir does smell a bit farm yardy don’t you think? But just to say you know it’s a potent effective one when you spot that. Some supermarket ones made of probiotic powder rather than the real grains are often smell-less. Btw I also put a small dash of it in my daughter’s dog’s dog bowl daily - and he laps it up. The probiotics help him a lot (and cheaper than the pill ones from the vet).
This one ESPECIALLY so, extreeeeemely goaty, but I do genuinely like it now. And ha yes! My mum's terrier Beano gets a spoon of Yeo Valley yoghurt every morning for the same reason. So I suspect my future dog will do too....

Where does Mateus Rose fit in? It is entirely apocryphal that the inventor said on his death bed "I still don't know why we need grapes"
Minuty is the go to rose if you attend the advertising festival in Cannes. Aldi does some great rose under £10.
The knitted buildings are adorable!
