I suppose it's easy to mock the royal warrants, but I kind of like an endorsement that's based in someone actually using the product. The only thing I ever bought regularly that had one was Peek Freans, but I think they lost it when the brand stopped being sold in the UK.
You can add Chimney sweep influencer to your CV -I’ve just bookmarked Milborrows for when I next need to get my chimney swept. The previous sweep we used just kept talking and talking, until it began to feel really uncomfortable, I used to have to make my husband wfh so he would be there with him, hopefully these Royal Sweeps will be better 🤣
I’ve watched all of Clarksons Farm several times - although obviously not Series3 - only managed that once so far! Just a shout out for Episode 1 in the latest series - I was laughing so much I was crying! Guess at which bit?
Intrigued by the necessity to establish with (late) that it was Elizabeth II and her warrantees you were explaining at the top of the piece. Two things
1. It’s perfectly clear
2. It’s The Times
On account of both the above I think you could pretty much guarantee we’d know what you were talking about. Someone should have a word with the relevant sub.
Actually a trigger warning would have been a better idea as just thinking about (the late) Queen and final her journey from Balmoral to London has made me rather weepy xxxxx
Ha I just wanted to really drive the point home because I still get a (tiny) bit confused when I read about eg the Queen meeting Peter Phillips's new girlfriend at Badminton on the weekend and think 'But hang on, she can't possibly have...'
I think it’s because she Queened better than anyone else ever could and it’s a bit like going to see a tribute band rather than say Actual Anna. Also I know exactly where you were for the weekend as I spent most weekend in the 80s there. Then it was a hotspot for upmarket gays and dear old Hugh Casson. Piccolo Mondo. XX
I've heard so many good things about that Richard Osman podcast and I need to check it out! Clarkson's farm is a fun show, from what I've seen.

No no I LOVE them! I think they're brilliant. I just also think they're quite funny...

Haven't got there yet! I'm still on series 1! Feel embarrassed to be so late with it...
Camel Valley sparkling wines are fantastic, particularly the pinot noir rosé!
NOTED! Thank you!
